GRS was scheduled at a rural hospital. The surgeon wrote a request for exams which had to be carried out before with the help of the family doctor. The family doctor refused to prescribe the exams because "surgeries for transgender people are cosmetic surgeries and therefor they had to pay for it" The patient had to travel to the hospital 2 days earlier to take care of all neccessary testings because the family doctor refused to cooperate.
