They recognized and approached and harassed the person about their past and surgical history. One guy called the victim a dyke. Eventually they stopped after 40 min of the victim explaining and standing up to them. One of them saw the person in the bathroom later that night and had the bathroom attendant throw them out of the bathroom whilst still using the toilet. The bathroom attendant called the victim names and threatened their life several times before the victim vacated the bathrooms. The event security was notified and their solution was that the victim retained from using the male bathrooms and instead use the disabled neutral toilet inside the coat room section, which meant being outed to the staff at the coat room. The incident didn't end there however, later on in the night victim was assaulted by same guy that asked the bathroom attendant to throw the victim out. He cornered them on the dancefloor when the place was crowded and repeatedly punched the right side of their face until the security staff pulled the two of them outside. They assessed the situation and barred the guy from the event. Afterwards they asked the victim politely to call it a night and go home and not call the guards as "the guards wouldn't help a gender bender such as the victim".
