On July 7 of 2017, transgender woman was with her friends at the cruising area, “Pleshka”. They were verbally assaulted by the workers who work at the nearby building construction. The women called the police, who arrested not only the perpetrators, but also transgender women, who were the victims in the case. The court fined one attacker with 100 GEL and stopped administrative proceedings against two other attackers and the victim.
