For two years X have been on HRT and her gender expression reflects her gender identity. Because her gender expression does not reflect her passport information X has faced multiple cases of discrimination when trying to get an employment. Because of that X has tried to change photo in her passport on the one that better reflect her gender expression. X has contacted the government migration services and payed that necessary fee of 1500rub in order to make a new passport stating that her previous passport was ruined. Because her passport does not reflect her gender identity and reflection X had to explain to the government workers why she needs to change her photo in the passport. After her explanation she was denied of changing her passport by the official representatives of the migration service. At the moment when the situation occurred X did not know that she can contact the services and get back the fee that she has payed. Later on she has lost the receipt. Currently X is in the process of trying to change her legal documents after receiving a medical document stating that she is transgender person. Fearing to be outed X did not try to contact the police or take the described case to court.
