The case of Z.B., monitored by WISG- On June 23, 2017 transgender woman was hanging out with her friends at the Batumi Boulevard. She was physically assaulted (attacked) by 2 strangers. She called the police, police did not arrest the attackers however. She then went to the police, where she was told to wait three hours outside, in the dark. She resisted the police and started to fight with them and was consequently fined by the court.
