The face of this person has not been distorted, which is indicating potential outing of their gender identity that could pose dangers for the victims. The victim was outed in his gender identity by a colleague who told his parents information about him taking hormones. When the victim returned home from work, he was subjected to physical violence by his father and brother. Physical violence was followed by insults. The victim feels depressed at the moment. They found out that the woman was trans and knocked out her teeth during a brutally violent act. She lost consciousness. The perpetrators put a bag on the victim's head and took her out of the city to the river. They attempted to drown the victim. For some time, the victim lost consciousness and was drowning in the water. The perpetrators left the body of the victim in the water, thinking that she was already dead. Luckily, a passing witness saw the victim's body in the water and came to her rescue. The witness was able to pull the victim out of the water by her hair. The victim was still alive and able to recover. In the police station, when the trans man showed his passport, he heard humiliating words by the police and was bullied. When both parties solved the conflict peacefully, the police did not want to release the trans man because he was "not coinciding with the person in his official documents." The policemen told the victim that he was dangerous and could be a terrorist who "changed his sex". She forgot her keys at home and couldn't let herself in with the intercom. After numerous attempts, she finally sat on a bench near her home. There were two intoxicated men who started to Victim perception come near her and harass her. She asked them not to touch her, but despite her attempts, two men turned out to be stronger and raped her. "The victim had to suffer sexual violence to stay alive" - a witness said. Depression, trauma Café Assault The incident occurred in the country of Tajikistan (Central Asia). In March 2016 trans activist spent the evening in company with a friend for dinner in a cafe. During the evening a man kept watching him. Once the victim finished dinner, the he called a taxi, Trying to get in the car, the man from the cafe ran up to him and put his hand over his face, and said that he hates people like the victim, most likely referring to the gender identity of the victim. However, all survivors describe the psychological trauma suffered by them, such as fright, stress, nightmare, fear of going out, fears for life and safety.
