Victim was on the pedestrian side of one of the central streets of Tbilisi with her friends. It was about midnight when a car approached them. There were 4-5 men sitting in the car and they started to assault and verbally abuse victim and her friends. Later they started to throw stones on them. Victim tried to run away and hide under the stairs nearby, that’s when one of the stones thrown by attackers hit her. As victim highlighted, cases of violence and transphobic attacks are very common and happen almost every second night around the sex worker venue. That is probably caused by the general homo/transphobic attitudes in the country.The case was reported to the police immediately, victims could identify number and color of the car. At, the moment case is being investigated.
