The victim was accused in a private civil case, which was referred to the court. The judge knew the gender identity of the accused. Despite all the testimony of witnesses, including the statement of the victim "about the lack of claims," the judge decided to imprison the trans woman for 5 years. The lawyer Labrys analyzed the case for bias towards the accused in connection with gender identity, but unfortunately in Kyrgyzstan there is no legislation on discrimination based on SOGI. At the moment, an appeal has been filed. The victim is kept in a single cell.
